Yeah, it's absolutely terrible. I'm re-reading the Ultimates right now, and it's just sad because we only got 27 issues of the best comic ever.

Yeah.
I mean, The Ultimates vol. 1 and 2...the quality was just superb. There was no better comic. But this....garbage is all flashy razzle dazzle bullshit.
Forget whether it's relevant to the plot, let's just throw Venom in there. Hell, how about a Spider-Man cameo? Or Wolverine? What's he got to do with The Ultimates? I don't know.
Then, just butcher the Brotherhood too. Loeb sucks at this. The art is kind of cool, but it feels unreal. Hitch's art made you feel like you were there, and Millar's writing was real.
This is poor quality and it's just terrible. It's so depressing reading it. I want Millar and Hitch back.

The main thing is that there's no characters. It's just drawings on a page, yelling and moving the plot along. I really like the art, and if Millar were writing it with that art, I'd be satisfied.

Yeah, I don't like what Loeb's done with th Ultimates either. I'm praying Millar will come to his senses, take over the book again and make Cap or someone wake up, realizing the Ultimates 3 was all a dream....
I'm seeing Iron Man this weekend....
