It says they have to be less than 6 KB, but you can only do that by saving it as a .gif, not a .jpg, which has crappy quality.
And there are some cool pictures I want as my face on this site.... thus I'm starting a petition to let us have bigger avatars! Like bobby drake's badass hawkeye one. I signed!
Ahem. Am I aloowed to do this? Please don't kick me off the site!

I dont really know How Bobby got one so big. We can ask him but i dont know if they can go much bigger.

Actually, he's the site adminastrator. And, yeah, I'm positive the avatar's size can be customized. I've done it before on other forums...
