Part 1: And his name is Venom...

A huge muscular figure ran down a street. Cars honked and people gasped, as the people of New York City knew who this horrifing black figure was. This scary looking monster with his big yellow fangs, long pink tongue, white eyes, and black slimey skin, was none other than the vicious VENOM! A villian so terrible, that he had nearly destroyed Spider-Man many times in the past. The man underneath the black coating called a symbiote, whick was an alien from space, was named Eddie Brock. And Eddie Brock, combined with the amazing might, anger, and hatred of the symbiote he wore, were the toughest villian Spider-Man ever had to face! Venom ran and swung on webs of his own. He spoke aloud with a sick and twisted smile "We're coming for you Parker, and this time, there will be NO MERCY, ONLY YOUR BLOOD"! Venom laughed and swung towards an apartment in the city! Part 2: A History lesson, written in blood

Venom swung through the city, getting closer every second to Spider-Man's apartment. The citizens of New York City were shocked and afraid of the sudden appearence of the horrible villian. Everyone thought he was dead, including Spider-Man. As Venom swang towards his enemy, his hatred grew, and his blood bolied inside of him. Venom spotted something on the street below him, and so he lowered himself to the ground and picked the item up. Venom looked at it. It was a newspaper. But not just any newspaper. The greatest newspaper in town, The Daily Bugle. "Jameson" Venom said as he frowned. He read the headline. It read "Today, marks the 1-year anniversary, of the evil Venom's death". Venom growled showing his sharp teeth. It had 5 whole pages about Venom including his origin. Venom read it and laughed. Most of the photos were taken by Peter Parker. Venom spat up spit when he saw that name. "PARKER" Venom yelled in rage. The exclusive article read...
"No one knows where the black alien costume Spider-Man wore for a short while came from, but it matters not, for he did wear it. It was a costume which supposedly harnassed all the rage, anger, and evil from it's host and used it for raw rage and unlimited power. It affected Spider-Man's emotions and this much is known from the legendary hero and leader of the world famous super-hero grop, The Fantastic Four, Reed Richards. Spider-Man came to The FF's headquarters, the Baxter Building to learn about the strange suit from Reed Richards. Richards deemed it a symbiote, and that it would not come off, due to the fact, that it feared losing the saftey and comfort of it's host, Spider-Man. So with the help of Richards and Johnny Storm, Spider-Man did get it off, and the FF contained it safely away. A grateful Spider-Man, continued his private life, still fighting crime wearing the black costume, only there was no alien parasite, controlling him. But little did Spider-Man know that in months the symbiote would escape containment. Little is known about how Spider-Man got stuck with the symbiote again, but it happened, this time worse, trying to control his emotions and turn him into a villian.
So supposedlySpider-Man unwittingly donned the costume, which immediately made itself apparent. He brought it to the tower at Our Lady of Saints Church gambling the intense sound of its bells would destroy it. Spider-Man lost the gamble, and he succumbed to the bells before the costume did. However, the empathic parasite had preyed upon the emotions of Spider-Man long enough to learn how to feel, and in feeling, to act. Sacrificing itself, the alien costume saved Spider-Man, who assumed it then crawled away to die. Actually, the symbiote, weak and dying, slithered down into the church where Eddie Brock (who would later become the evil villian Venom) kneeled in prayer at the altar. Raised a Catholic, he begged forgiveness for the suicide he was contemplating.
Brock had been a successful columnist for the newly revived Daily Globe until he began writing a series of articles about the "Sin-Eater murders". A bogus offender had confessed to Brock about committing the murders. While protecting the "murderer’s" identity under the First Amendment, Brock wrote a series of stories in the Globe detailing his dialogue with the supposed killer, until mounting pressure from the authorities forced him to write an exclusive revealing the murderer's name. Although that edition of the paper sold out immediately, Spider-Man soon revealed the true identity of the Sin-Eater to be Detective Stan Carter, making Brock a laughingstock among his fellow journalists. Fired from the Daily Globe, he was forced to write venomous drivel for scandal newspapers. Brock's wife left him, and his future appeared to be over. Brock blamed his predicament on Spider-Man.
Soon after, Brock began an intense physical workout program hoping to reduce the stress his life had become. However, such physical exertions only increased his violent obsession with Spider-Man. Although his body had been honed to near-perfection, Brock’s mind was reduced to an all-consuming vessel of hatred. It was this fierce emotion that attracted the empathic parasite. In order to survive, the alien costume had to feed off the nearest and greatest source of emotion. The symbiote joined mentally and physically with Brock, whose emotions overwhelmed the already confused alien. The dominant thought on both their minds was that of Spider-Man. But Brock’s sheer hatred for the crime fighter twisted the symbiote’s feelings to a similar extent. In effect, Brock’s emotions drove the symbiote insane, just as their bonding may have driven Brock over the edge. Brock soon discovered that the costume gave him all the powers of Spider-Man, and more. It also added bulk to his already large frame and increased his strength to superhuman levels. Calling himself "Venom," Brock directed the costume to sprout a hideous grin and plotted his revenge. Through the costume, Venom learned a great deal about Spider-Man, apparently including his secret identity.
Brock taunted Spider-Man with minor assaults, such as pushing him in front of a moving subway train. The alien costume could cancel out the wall-crawler’s spider-sense presumably by projecting conflicting frequencies upon Spider-Man's brain waves. Taking the time to retrieve the sonic blaster from the Fantastic Four, Spider-Man challenged Venom at Our Lady of Saints Church. Although he fired the blaster at Venom, Spider-Man soon discovered that the symbiote could not be separated from Brock because it had completely bonded with him. Trying to escape and rethink his options, Spider-Man was caught unaware by Venom. He captured Spider-Man and secured him to the inside of the church bell with a considerable amount of webbing. Spider-Man narrowly escaped the bell’s crushing clapper before defeating Venom by forcing him to deplete his webbing supply, of which the alien symbiote was actually comprised. Before the alien could regenerate enough of its mass to become a renewed threat, Spider-Man brought Venom to the Fantastic Four who imprisoned him in a sonic containment cell. The Fantastic Four then shipped Venom to the government super-prison in the Colorado Rockies called the Vault.
A young guard who had just been assigned to the Vault was fooled into thinking that Venom was a fallen colleague and released the gate mechanism, which imprisoned the criminal. Venom killed the naïve guard and escaped to New York City, where he once again confronted Spider-Man. This time Spider-Man used psychological warfare upon Venom, by taunting the alien symbiote to return to him. The alien, torn by its love-hate relationship for Spider-Man, tried to leave Brock and to re-establish its link with its original owner. But the trauma of trying to detach itself from Brock’s nervous system was too much to bear. The alien costume and Eddie Brock were both knocked unconscious and were subsequently returned to the Vault, where they were incarcerated. Since then, Venom has gone through many changes. After years of combating, Venom reached an understanding with Spider-Man.
After dealing a truce with Spider-Man and relocating to San Francisco, Venom was recruited via an ultimatum by the government to be a special operations counter-terrorist agent. Venom agreed, but one stipulation of the deal did not sit too well with him. A bomb was planted in his chest to assure complete and utter obedience. After a few missions, Venom became tired of the situation and had the symbiote perform surgery on him and extracted the bomb. A brouhaha ensued wherein the end result was Eddie Brock lying unconscious and the symbiote "dead," only to return later on and re-join with Eddie. Thus Venom was whole again and looking to square things with Spider-Man once again. He had lost his memory and no longer knew the secret identity of Spider-Man, but knew that a deep seated hatred resided within him for the Web-Head.
Shortly after the reunion, Venom joined the Sinister Six for a brief period in order to get at Spider-Man. After being scorned by the group, he hunted down certain members of the team for revenge (including Electro, Sandman, and Kraven). Later Eddie Brock approached his ex-wife Anne Weying, and at the thought of having the symbiote back in her life, she jumped out of her apartment window and killed herself. Venom blamed Spider-Man, whom he had a skirmish with right before Anne died. Thus the hatred for the old Web-Head was fueled anew.
More recently, in his history, Venom made anther attempt on Spider-Man's life, brutally torturing him in New York City. Spider-Man, fed up and angry, desperately wanted Venom out of his life, so he used his webs and tossed him into a NYPD helicopter nearby. Spider-Man managed to get the two pilots out of the copter, and blew the copter up, in an undescribable amount if fury. The symbiote let out a cry, and everything was gone, including the helicopter, Eddie Brock, and the symbiote. Although no body was ever recovered, authorities have officialy declared him dead, after a 2 month investigation. Eyewitnesses never saw Venom re-emerge from the copter, so there is reason to back up the claim that he is dead. And seeing as how Venom has not shown himself in over 1 year, he truly must be gone. And so finally, the people of New York can walk the night with a little less fear. There may still be thugs and gunmen, but there is no Venom to worry about. The nightmare is over. Too bad the same can't be said about Spider-Man, who still swings among us. "
"DEAD?!?!" Venom yelled in rage. "If only they knew" Venom cried as he threw the paper to the ground and swung towrards Spider-Man's apartment again. Venom thought back to when Spider-Man had tried to kill him. He thought back in anger and rage, as if it hurt to remember what happened afer the helicopter blew up. Now that he was back, every citizen in New York, wnated to know, where had he been for the last year? Why was he back now? How did he survive? What has he been up too? Only one person held the answer. Venom knew, and only him. As he swung through the cold night, waiting to arrive at Spidey's place, he thought back, way back, and a flashback started in his mind... _________________ "THE ULTIMATE MARVEL TRIVIA GAME! Oh, I should have posted this before! This is crucial to understand the story!
This is 616, as you can tell, but it is out of continuity, which means, the world does not know Spidey is Peter and he is not an Avenger! And Brock never got Cancer. I tweaked the origin recap, and cut thta part out, adding my own ending to it! And I have no idea how long this will be! Most parts will be short and I won't have a lot of time to write this! My main priority is The Ultimate Marvel Trivia Game! story!

Part 3: Prolgue- The Conclusion of the first arc

Exactly 1 year ago...
"It's over Brock, you're through, YOU WILL NEVER BOTHER ME AGAIN... EVER!" Spider-Man yelled as he threw Venom into a helicopter and got the two pilots out and to saftey. "You can't get rid of us, Spidey, WE WILL HAVE YOUR BLOOD" Venom yelled in anger. "SHUT UP, AN LEAVE ME ALONE" Spider-Man yelled as he closed the door with his web, trapping Venom inside the copter. He then took a gun from one of the two men, and used it to shoot the engine. It hit it, and the whole thing when up in flames and smoke, and resulted in a huge explosion, that thundered loudly in the night sky. BOOOOOOM!! Spider-Man watched as pieces of it went crashing to the street below. Luckily all the cars had been deserted and no one was hurt when the helicopter hit. Spider-Man swung away from the two policemen, and let out a sigh of relief. When Spider-Man got home he told his wife, Mary Jane Watson "It's over MJ, after all these years, it's through". Spidey unmasked himself and fell down, to weep in happiness. Venom had plagued their lives for too long. It felt good to have him out of their lives finally. All that night they celebrated, cheering Venom's death.
Minutes earlier...
Spider-Man shot the engine and the helicopter blew up with Venom inside. "That punk, Parker did it, we're dead" Brock said to his symbiote. I reached for the door, but it was too late. I was dead, adn it was all Spider-Man's fault. He killed us both. As the explosion engulfed me 'n the symbiote, the symbiote acted with lighning speed and wrapped me up in a blanket of black. It became a shield for me. It was trying to save me. I didn't know what to think. The symbiote was the only thing that did any good fro me in this world. It was my only friend. I loved it. The symbiote made all kinds of horrible nosies as it blocked the fire and debris from me. It wrapped me up, like a package, and saved my life. The fire and heat was too much for it, and it evaporated in the explosion. It gave it's life for It's host. Me. It sacrificed itself for me. I escaped with only minor burnmarks. When the copter hit the street and I opened my eyes, it was gone. It was dead. There was nothing left. I'd lost my power, and my will to live. The only thing that kept me going, my only fuel, was my hatred of Spider-Man, PARKER! I knew I wouldn't let my pal die in vain. He wanted Spider-Man dead as much as I did. I knew I had to honor his last wish. So I crawled out of the rubble and fire and smoke, and no one saw me, 'cause I hid in the thick smoke. I maaged to find a manhole. A sewer. I made my way in there, and crawled down the ladder, into the darkness of my soul.
NOW- Present night
"So this is the story of the yaer where I went missing. The year where the world thought Venom was dead. 52 weeks, 365 days. This is a story told by me. Venom. With the help of my symbiote" Venom laughed. "So write everything I tell you, and you may earn your life" Venom said in the present night. "I-I-I'll do whatever you want, just d-don't kill me, Brock" the editor of the Daily Bugle, J. Jonah Jameson begged as he sat weeping over a computer. "Good, start with the title, I want the world to pick up tommorow's newsaper, and read the exclusive story of what happened to me this past year, written in my own words!" Venom growled. "Spider-Man has to wait" Venom yelled. "W-what's the title?" Jameson asked sweating in fear. "VENOM- 365 days of Hell- 52 Weeks of torment" Venom yelled as his tongue came out, and he glared in anger. "This is the story of the year without us; VENOM!".

So now you are probaly wondering what happened to this series, right? Why is it over? Where is the last battle between Spider-Man and Venom? Well when I started this I had an idea! I LOVED DC Comics' 52 series, which is now over! So now I'm gonna do my own type! I'm gonna examine 365 days of Venom's life! We'll find out what he's up to during this missing year! Only Venom will not be in it! Eddie Brock will! It's gonna be awesome, so stay tuned! This new series will have 52 issues, and some will be short! Because let's be honest, every day of the year, is not exciting! Most days of the year, are boring right? But do not worry, every issue promises to be a great read!
When I am done with this series, then I'll come back and finish the one you just read! Then Spider-Man and Venom will battle to the DEATH!
