See look, Wiki confirms what I just said:
WORLD WAR HULK (look under Rick Jones)
Rick re-connected with the Hulk during the World War Hulk mini-series. He sought out the Hulk and supported his punishing the Illuminati for their exiling him to Sakaar and their apparent involvement with the deaths of one million people on that planet, including the Hulk's wife and unborn child. After the Hulk's climactic battle with the Sentry, one of the Hulk's associates, Miek (who was the true cause of the deaths on Sakaar), impaled Rick through the chest. Rick is last seen being loaded into an ambulance, unknown if he has survived Miek's attack.

Oh... Looks like Comic Book Deaths are to be taken closely examined... I so, would've believed he died... That's what made #5 so shocking...

I thought he died too man! But when I read Hulk #1 I said "WTF!" and when I got home I pulled out WWH #5 and read more closely and then I caught that!
