Chapter 2
Bruce reacted before he knew what was happening. He pulled one of the spikes free from his forearm and threw it at the enemies coming around the corner. It knocked the gun from his hand and Batman kicked him back. The second man opened fire before he even saw Batman and shredded the far wall, before a punch to the face brought him down. The third tried to pistol whip Batman but Bat’s was able to catch his arm and dislocate his shoulder. With all four men down and the police kicking down the door Bruce decided it was time to leave. He ran through the back ally and up a fire escape. He hoped from building to building for twenty minutes straight before reaching home. He found his abandoned and half demolished home in Gothom east. He went inside and removed his helmet. He’d lost one batarang tonight in the fight. He had to try and make another but needed parts. Just as his mind began to wander a voice came from behind. Bruce readied for attack as he turned around.
‘Oliver Queen was a 15 year old stuck in a 20 year olds body and was actually 43. His ideas were younger then him and he hardly took anything serious. At age 20 he went from a stuck up rich guy to one of the FBI’s most wanted. See after he gave away every penny he had to his name he decided that that wasn’t enough. So like his favorite story he started stealing from the rich and giving to the poor. He robbed company’s blind from the inside and then gave it to every charity he could find. Last month he stole 8.5 million from Stark industries. Company Owner Tony Stark replied with this message. “Believe me Oliver Queen or as you call yourself “Green Arrow” you will be brought to Justice. Just you wait my friend.”’
Oliver switched off the TV.
“Ha! Id like to see you try my friend. I’ve never been caught in the 20 years I’ve been doing this. Just because you new in this world doesn’t mean you can catch me.” Queen Spoke to himself as he picked up his bow and quiver. He pushed open the door to his small one room apartment and went into the hall. He locked it and turned to be face to face with none other then Tony Stark.
“Hello Oliver.” Tony said.
“Stark. Let me guess, some kinda tracker in the money?” Oliver replied.
“Nope. Just followed you until I found you.”
“Sure. If you don’t feel like telling me how then don’t but, don’t think of me as an idiot.”
Tony smiled an uncomfortable smile for a second. Oliver returned the favor. Before he knew what was happening Oliver was flying back through the door. He crashed and rolled across the ground, panting. He looked up as Tony walked in.
“Hit pretty hard for a little gu…” He stopped mid sentence. Tony had raised his right hand reveling a robotic hand. With his left hand he hot a switch and instantly an iron armor assembled on him.
“What the hell..are you?” Oliver said as he stood and drew and arrow.
“ I AM IRON MAN!! ” He yelled as he charged.
“Is that what I think it is?” Charles asked.
“I think it is!” James replied.
“Where…where did you get it?”
“As I wandered through the artic three years ago I found it in a snow heap. It still worked back then but after using it to fly back to Canada it lost all its power and doesn’t work now.”
“He must have dropped it.” Charles said.
“Who?” James asked.
“Hal Jordan.” Charles replied as he stared at the Glowing ring James held in his hand.
