Ok. Some people have asked me to do it on marvle so i have to extend the offer to you guys.
I will start nameing chacters off people. SOme will be big parts and some will be small. But for the story i need real names. Wich i know for most of you guys. But at the end of each story i will do this

o pm. Part 3 of Day of Days.

“ZACK! LOOK!” Mark screamed as he pointed back towards town. Every car I drove past was now driving past us. There speed was incredible. The sound was deifying as they roared by. Then I saw why they were all driving so fast. Those things. They were sprinting. SPRINTING! I mean come ON! There like zombies and yet they are sprinting.
I stood with a grim look on my face.
“Zack? What are you doing?” He asked as I walked to the trunk of my car.
“Making them pay. This entire day is there fault.”
“Ma we have to go.”
I didn’t listen. I pulled the British rifle out and loaded it. I was amazed at how far the scope went in. The cross hairs landed on ones chest. I smiled slightly as I pulled the trigger. BANG! As that one fell some of the other behind it fell too. BANG!BANG!
Two more fell. Anger was starting to flow through me. As it flew though me it went into each bullet. BANG! As each fell I heard the scream of a person I watched or saw one of these things kill. BANG! BANG!BANG!
“ZACK WE HAVE TO GO!” Mark yelled
“Fine” I said as I loaded up the gun.
I hoped in the car and started it up. I didn’t speed because I figured that we didn’t need to. I was wrong. These freaking monsters don’t just run. They jump. As I got up to a good speed I looked in my rearview. There was one about 30 yards behind me. I figured that he would get tired soon and stop. Wrong. The thing crouched. Then leapt forward. It cleared almost 40 yards. It landed on my roof. I looked at Mark. Then I looked back at Candace.
She slowly pulled her pistol out and handed it forward. As I took it the things fist came through the roof. It ripped Jim out of the roof and began to bite him. Mandy screamed and tried to pull him back. I reached up and shot Jim. Even he shouldn’t have to become one. As I shot him I slammed on the brakes to hopefully knock the thing off. It didn’t work. As it reached down toward Candace Mark shot it with the shot gun.
“GO ZACK GO!!!!!!!”
I speed op as two more jumped in front of us.
“HOLD ON!!!” I screamed and I threw the steering wheel to the right. As I did that I pulled the Emergency break. I was drifting. I drifted right into the things taking them both out. I pulled the steering wheel back straight and we kept going. We had reached the town of Rockford. It was a town bigger the mine. That’s when I realized my massive mistake. The things started coming out of the wood works. Every building and street we passed.
“OH MY GOD!” Candace screamed in the back seat.
“ZACK HEARD FOR THE BRIDGE!” Mark yelled.
I sped around a corner and three of those things jumped on the car.
I could see the bridge. But those three things were attacking. On had landed on my hood so I pulled my pistol and shot it. I looked back at the road to see we were clearing the last road before the bridge. I heard Mandy and Candace scream at the same time. I looked to my right. There was a van. It didn’t even slow down. It clipped our back end and sent us spinning uncontrolled. The savage wind of us spinning caught underneath the car and flipped us. We were barrel rolling. Finally when we stopped we were on our roof.
“Guys…..Ah…ow…..Guys we gotta get out…….” I said as I pulled myself out. The shot gun had landed next to me. I grabbed it and shot open the trunk. I stuffed as much ammo as I could into my pockets and loaded my gun. One jumped at me. I blew him away.
“COME ON YOU FREAKS!” I screamed as I shot two more. Blood was running down my forehead and into my right eye. There was a terrible pain in my left side. I broke a couple fingers in my left hand as well. But those things just kept coming. And I didn’t want my friends hurt. So I fought on. Firing and firing over and over. They fell down and never got back up. I missed one and it tried to bite me. But instead he ate the butt of my shot gun. I looked behind me and saw Candace and Mark hiding behind a barricade of cars. I sprinted at it and jumped in with them.
There was blood every where. Mark lay in the middle of it.
“Zack…..How bad am I?”
I fell down next to him.
“Zack…Zack……zack…..”
“No! NOT YOU TOO! DAMN IT!! NO!!”
”ZACK LOOK OUT!” Candace screamed from my left.
I turned and one jumped me. His hand wrapped around my neck. Candace shot it.
As she helped me up something exploded. A chunk of metal hit her in the side.
“AHHH!” She said as she fell. I grabbed her and pulled her up. They were all around us. I was edging my self closer to the bridges end. The entire time I shot. Taking out as many as I could. But they kept coming. And coming. It was endless. I felt my heel reach the end. One jumped at me as I fell backwards into the river. I remember a lot of water. And I know I hit a rock or two. But then I woke up on a river bank. Still holding a bleeding Candace and the shot gun. I carried her to a cave and set her down. I reached into my back pocket and pulled a sewing kit. Ya. I carry one. Got a problem with it. Carry one. It could save some one life. I knelt beside her and tried to pull it out. It came out quite easily. But I couldn’t get to the wound with her shirt in the way.
“Please don’t get mad…..”
The rest went quite easily. I got her shirt off and stitched up the wound. It wasnet very deep so I thought she would be ok. I walked over to the other side of the cave and I rubbed my neck But I felt a cut. Small one. Not even bleeding.
“That’s weird.” I told myself.
And then I waited. Waited for Candace to wake up. Waited for some explanation. Wait for the government to rescue us. But if I was lucky one might happen.

News…

In the 6 days that followed I found out some stuff. See after three days when I got tired of sitting in that cave I decided to go back and check town. Even though I knew what I would find. Candace hadn’t woken up but she had stirred and talked in her sleep a few times. So I left the cave with shotgun in hand. I moved a decent sized rock in front of the cave entrance to make sure no one would find her. As I walked I wanted to go bury my family. But I knew I couldn’t. I couldn’t be gone that long and there was no grantee that they were still there. I walked up the riverbank for three hours before finding the road to town. As I walked I noticed that the sky was turning slightly red. At the town the was no sign that those things had been there expect for a few fires. That was it. I walked farther into town and found a best buy. I walked in ready for a fight. I was surprised to find electricity still on. The TVs were on. The news was playing.
“ The president has been killed. The “Maulers” as they are being called killed him. We don’t even know if anyone is still alive to hears this. I’m sure you all have heard of Zombies. That if you just shot them in the head they die. Well that worked at the begging of this mess. But it doesn’t any more. You just have to shoot them till dead. The last thing the army told us is that the dieses dissolves most of the brain. So you can blow away half of there head and they will keep coming. This just in…..Oh dear god. The military has…..has attacked all other nations. Attacked them with the virus. They’ve spread it………those sick……sick people. If anybody is left then I should tell you that there have been reports if towns without Maulers. They’ve popped up all around the country. But the only reported on in Michigan is in the town of Hell. I cant believe it. The government couldn’t stand the fact that just the US would be wiped out by this so they figured that they should take every one with them…………………”

I stood in horror of what I had just learned. The human race would soon be gone. That’s when I saw something walking up behind me in the reflection of the TV. I turned quickly and clubbed it across the face with the butt of my gun. As it hit the ground I shouldered my gun and was ready to pull the trigger.
“Damn I think you knocked a tooth loose.” The man said.
“You human?”
“Ya. I wouldn’t be talking other wise.
“What do ya want?”
“I wanted to make sure you weren’t stealing.”
“Well Im not.”
“Will you help me up then?”
“How do I know you wont just take my gun?”
“Well you don’t. But if you don’t help me up then I will…..YA I don’t know exactly.”
I reached down and grabbed his hand.
“Names Nate. And you might want to leave. The maulers are starting to come out.”
”What do you mean?”
“Where have you been?”
“ In a cave a couple miles away.”
“OM MY GOD! You’re the guy that crashed his T-Bird on the bridge then jumped of.”
“Ya.”
“You survived. Amazing.”
Suddenly a man appeared out side the door. He held a chainsaw in his right hand. He looked like a hobo. His shirt said “Zen” Around his neck he had a sign that said “Nobody gets my organs" .
“Crap. That was The Zen man. We better go.”
“Why?”
“Well he has explosives. Lots of them. And where ever he appears. Explosions follow.”

Savior

I ran outside and spotted the Zen man. He was running through an army of Maulers. Chainsaw out he fought. Cutting the down one by one. Gliding through them with effortless grace.
“YOU WONT TAKE MY ORGANS!” He screamed
“He’s crazy isn’t he?”
“What was your first clue Zack.”
“Lets go before things explode.”
“Ya.”
I turned and saw what was behind us. Another army of them.
“Where……where did they come….from……”
I turned and sprinted into an alleyway to my left. I could hear Nate behind me but I didn’t know if we could outrun them. Sprinting through a couple trash cans I saw a possible way out. A fire escape. I leapt up and caught it. As I pulled my self up I felt Nate grab it. We climbed up the side of that building like this. As I reached the roof I turned and looked behind me. They were already up.
“Damn it…… This is how it ends huh?”
“Looks like it Zack.”
“Looks like we’re gonna go out with a bang.” I said as I cocked my shot gun.
“Ya.” Nate said as he pulled a Luger.
“Nice gun.”
“Gets the job done.”
“Zack?” Nate asked.
“Ya?”
“Can we trade gun. I don’t want to die with out getting to shoot one.”
“How much ammo you got?”
He pulled 7 clips from his pocket. As we traded guns I noticed that we weren’t dead yet.
The Maulers stood staring at us like they had never seen us before.
“STOP STARING YOU FREAKS!!!!” I screamed as I opened fire.
Nate steeped back and that when I noticed that he wasn’t standing next to me any more. I looked expecting to see us at the edge of the building but he had fallen through the roof.
“COME ON ZACK!” Yelled.
As I went to jump down a Mauler jumped on me.
“GO!” I yelled as I put the barrel to its chin. BANG! I shoved it off me as more charged. I looked to a building across the street. Something felt weird. Mt teeth felt pointed. Energy rushed through me. I sprinted to the edge and jumped. I cleared sixty yards. I cleared the first building and landed on the next one. I looked down at the street to see The Zen man fleeing. I looked to the building I was just on. It exploded. The force knocked me off my feet. I hit my head against the ground and passed out.

I awoke a few hours later. It was dark out. The building still burned. I climbed down and onto the street. Debris was every where. So were Maulers. I should have just ran but I couldn’t. I picked up a broken sign in my left hand. Holding the pistol in my right I charged at them.
“ YOURE NOT MEANT TO BE!!!” I screamed. Something had come over me. I beat down two of them with a single swipe. BANG!BANG!BANG!BANG! Four more fell to my feet. I tucked the gun in the front of my pants and swung the sign like a baseball bat. It took a head off. Suddenly my energy was gone. Empty. Nothin.
“AH hell.”
The maulers sensed this and jumped at me. I jumped forward as the tried to jump on top of me. I rolled out of the crowed and pulled the pistol.
“HEY!” I screamed as I emptied a clip into the crowd. I turned and ran as I reloaded. Sprinting out of the town as fast as I can I hope Candace was ok. I turned to make surre none were following before I went down the path that lead to the cave.
After another hour I finally spotted the cave. Three maulers were outside breaking away at the stone. It was amazing that they could break stone. I could her Candace screaming.
“Over here!” I yelled to get there attention. It worked. They all ran at me.
I smiled as I pulled the trigger. Click.
The clip was empty………….

Finished part 5! GREAT story man! Coming this Summer I'll be starting my Zombie story! I've had the idea for the perfect horror/zombie style story floating in my head for months!! I can't wait to put it into words! It's gonna be sweet! When I was younger all I ever wrote were scary stories! I wanted to be a horror writer when I grew up! So everyone I know says what I write best is horror! So I hope my story kicks half as much ass as Cowboy's!
