A certain Marvel artist has started to annoy me. Despite his undeniably awesome work on books like Ultimate Power, UFF and a whole bunch of stuff over the years, I can't forgive him for the blatant tracing he's done, copying artists like John Cassady, Travis Charest and himself. Yes, it's Greg Land. Some people say, as well as other artists, Land frequently traces porn. Art is about creativity, imagination, expression, not lazily tracing the work of others, signing it, selling it as your own, then crossing your fingers and hoping no-one notices! His original work, without the tracing, is kickass so why the fuck does he do it?

I noticed it when he did the same expression on Scarlet Witch and Wasp on the covers to Ultimate Power...

Yeah, he did it a lot in Ultimate Power. Most of his expressions are so orgasm-like you can't help but assume he traced it from porn. On his Uncanny X-Men 500 variant he traced about five seperate poses from his Ultimate Power cover.
