So I'm trying to catch up on my USM, and so far have Vol. 1, Power and Responsibility, Vol. 10, Hollywood, Vol. ?, Venom, and I just got got Vol. 3, Double Trouble.
In Double Trouble, while the newspapers are interviewing Hammer, a guy from the Globe raises his hand and identifies himself as Eddie Brock. But in the Venom arc, Brock was just a college kid.
Now, it's been a while since I read Venom, and I don't have it here (bobbys__ex borrowed it), so was he a reporter in Venom, and I just forgot? Or was this explained somehow later? |

| I'm pretty sure they're not the same person, Bendis likes to add easter eggs in his comics. For example in the Cats and Kings Arc Peter comes across a list of Former/Known Cat Burglars, the list contains the names of many Spidey villians real names like Benjamin Poindexter (Bullseye), Cleatus Kasady (Carnage), etc. So I don't think they are the same. Also I think they did the same thing in the Spider-Man Movie. |

im pretty sure bendis threw that in there to get people thinkin though eddie never said he didnt work for the daily globe its doubtful that he did
