Well I haven't been around the forum much. Time seems ever growing smaller and faster strange when you get older it gets this way and when your a child feels like for ever
Anyhow this is something I've said I was doing since I played the Assassins Creed game (I'm sure most of you are familiar) I vowed I would create the costume that Altair wears in the game. So for the past 2 weeks I been working on this costumefor halloween (starting early yes, but no idea how long it would take). This is the first time I've ever done a project like this
I have most of the materials here's a list
7 yards of cotton fabric
2 yards of Pleather (fake leather fabric)
12 big pieces of craft foam
buttons
Buckles
thats ll i can think of
tools I've used
Glue gun
scissors
knife
ruler
measureing tape
pens and pencils
Hopefully the final product looks like this
and

Lookin good there rob. IMO Altair is one of the coolest-looking gaming characters ever. Once on Halloween my friend wore a Halo Grunt costume. It was hilarious. _________________ PROUD MEMBER OF THE ULTIMATE MARVELS!!!!

I would say somewhere around 40hrs maybe more. I did it like every Sunday for 5 weeks this year. And a few nights during the week when i could squeeze it in. I used the Belt and right bracer i made 2 years ago so that saved some time.
I also didnt have a sewing machine so that probably would have cut the time in half. It was also my first time so I took extra time to do everything. |

it's actually really easy. i learned how to at 13 and could still remember 8 years later. Check out some how to's on youtube. The hardest part is the pattern, which is just the shape to cut out before sewing. But those are easily bought. |
