That's right boys and girls, I'm back! Sorry I haven't been on, but things have been crazy for me, and I can't guarantee how long I'll be here again, but I had to say this:
SPOILERS FOLLOW:
HOLY SHIT IRON MAN. Not only was it spectacular, but the possibilities it opens up! This is the first movie that Marvel had full creative control over, and if this film is any indication, we have a bright film future ahead of us. I don't know if you guys heard, but Robert Downey Jr. will be in The Incredible Hulk, as Iron Man. They're crossing characters, and if you stayed after the credits, you know what that means.
I almost peed my pants when Samuel L. Jackson came out. What a spectacular moment. I think we can take that scene as confirmation that an Avengers movie is happening, with all of the characters from other movies (starting with Iron Man).
And the casting! Literally, Robert Downey Jr. IS Iron Man. There could not have been a better Tony Stark. And Edward Norton as Bruce Banner! They're picking THE best actors for the roles. I'm hoping for Clive Owen as Hawkeye, anyone? Bueller?
Wow. I'm so excited for future Marvel films. I was completely blown away, and wanting more.
As an Incredible Hulk aside, anyone who's seen the trailers, did you notice all the Ultimates 2 stuff? It looks like they're taking a lot of stuff from Ultimates 2, which is very good.
But it's late, I'm tired, but also too excited to sleep. I guess I'll try.

Good to see a post of yours again.
I agree. Iron Man was amazing. Robert Downey JR. nailed Stark, and the future of MARVEL movies looks bright!
The whole movie was just kick ass.

Haha, it was more like 30 seconds!
I can't wait for Incredible Hulk now, especially all the Ultimates 2 stuff that's in there! I hope when they make the Thor movie, it's based on Ultimate Thor, even though that would piss a lot of Thor fans off.

YES! I prayed that they would use a lot of Ultimate stuff and they DID! Hallalujah!
SAM FREAKIN JACKSON HOLY CRAP!
Clive Owen as Hawkeye would be alright, but I can't imagine him with a shaved head. I haven't seen him in a lot of stuff though (Bourne Identity, Sin City and something else I can't remember). He does kick ass in Sin City though.
I must see Iron Man....

I'd love for them to incorporate Ultimate stuff in the films, yeah. I sorta felt like Abomination in the trailer looked a lot like the one from Ultimates 2, rather than the 616 version, so, I guess, it already is happening...

Plus, Banner's wearing the same outfit he does in Ultimates 2 when he's running away. And the part where they throw him out of the helicopter so he'll turn into the Hulk is from Ultimates 2 as well, I think (it could be from Ultimates 1, I haven't read them in a while).

That scene you're referring to was The Ultimates 1 #12. Twas the cliffhanger.

Abomination looks more like a Beserker from Gears of War. BTW, I've spoiled it for myslef and looked at the Nick Fury clip on YouTube. I couldn't help it.... He's in it for like nine seconds, but I can't wait for the Avengers movie, especially if it has him, Iron Man and Hulk in it.

Damn, I still can't believe Edward Norton'll be Bruce Banner-- genuis!! Seriously, first, Downey landed Stark, then Jackson got Fury... Amazing.
