Thanks Cow boy and I have some updates for the story.
As stated before I have redone the entire origin.
Jim and his family take place in their own universe out side of the marvel one.
Essientially it's a brand new universe for me and guy's characters
In the revised stories I go through how jim was in the car crash lived in the woods found philadelphia, then traveled the world stopping in london Japan china Korea Israel Brazil and mexico then finally returning to the united states and be captured by the authorities

Looking at dates this forum has really died down, BUT for any members who happen to end up checking yet again I have a very delayed up date for Jim/Ateles his new and what I believe is his complete final costume (armor really) created by his sister and ta daa
Also i had his boots designed and finished his sisters new look (not costume) and Maybe his wife if I decide just need to be scanned they are on extremely big paper though so have to figure that out

Glad you guys like Well he is going to go through some costumes as I have it planned now but this will be his final and most sophisticated. I'm going to stay true to my original design but give actual reasons as to the look at what not. I'm taking a tech class in college and part of it is to create your own web page so expect me to have links by december (most likey sooner)

POWERS- (With Formula) Super Strength able to lift/press 6 tons. Incredible leaping ability can easily jump 3 stories (4 if has to). Reflexes great enough to dodge or deflect bullets with enough distance for a short time (5 bullets). 6th sense type ability able to know when being followed, watched or imminent danger is ahead he calls it his “Bad Feeling”. Ateles can taste distinct ingredients in food and indentify if they are healthy or poisonous. His sense of smell is accurate enough to recognize people by their smell and track people or animals short distances. He can actually detect fear through smell. Hearing able to fine tune what he wants to hear, his actual ability of hearing is close to that of a cat. His eye sight is greater than the best human; he can read the last line on eye chart close double the distance of regular test. His Sense of feeling is able to recognize tiny changes in air pattern or changes in temperature. Has better sense of balance then a regular human similar to a cat he can always land on his feet instinctively, partly because of his gymnast training and partly because of his genes. Increased ability to heal compared to normal human example ordinary person falls scraps knee takes 3-4 days to heal completely for Ateles takes less than 12 hours. Ateles body is also extremely durable he can withstand a fall of 10 stories while holding a small person. Rounds from handguns cannot penetrate his bones only more powerful weapons like rifles. His skin is also more durable and takes more pressure or force to break his skin. Before the Virogenetic Enhancement changed Ateles DNA he could do roughly 1/3 of his ability example lift 2 tons jump one story. He gained his altered powers from drinking a polluted stream near MAGITEC Inc.
ABILITIES- Trained in Gymnastics since he could walk and trained in boxing since he was 6 years old. He is an excellent problem solver and strategist. Intelligent enough to finish a 4 year degree in 2 taking summer course and extra course every semester in college. Incredible short term memory can remember briefings or a set of 20 numbers perfectly. Jim was an accomplished athlete before surfacing of powers playing basketball, baseball and football. Incredible leg strength gives him ability to run up to 50 miles an hour. (Before enhancements close to 30 mph) Shot close to 100% on FBI accuracy test, he is an excellent marksman. Since living in wild he is an excellent hunter and tracker, excellent shot with Bow. His body’s physiology is also highly capable of identifying outside threats (such as viruses and bacteria) and eliminates them quickly. Because of this Ateles can virtually never become sick. Also after the virus altered his own DNA it built a defense against other virus that is immediately recognized as foreign RNA and broken down with a special enzyme unique to Ateles making him virtually immune to viruses.
WEAPONS- 14in Carbon Steel USMC Bayonet/Knife, Twin 40 Caliber Glock 21 handguns while in FBI, Twin Tactical Springfield XD with TF, Diaplatanium: Straight Sword, Defensive Gauntlets with ninja climbing claws and Bo staff able to break down into batons, Titanium/Silver combat knife, 3 Silver/Titanium throwing ninja like stakes, Diaplatanium/Titanium Shoulder Armor. Plus whatever else he feels necessary for a mission.
WEAKNESSES- Due to his different genetic structure an immense strength Jim must intake massive amounts of calories daily. So he cannot go for as long without eating. While most humans would starve in about 4 weeks, Jim would in 2 and his animal instincts kick in only a few days where for average person it would be in a week or so. After a week he becomes extremely weak. He must have at least 8 hours of sleep for his body to operate at optimum potential (though in times of stress this can be greatly reduced or even unnecessary as long as he intakes enough energy). Due to his advanced hearing incredibly loud sounds may deafen him or a high pitched whistle. Because of his dense bone structure it's hard for small caliber rounds to pass through his body lodging bullets into his body which requires minor surgery to remove, but could easily go unnoticed and with enough time cause infection and eventually sickness or death. Ateles will do anything for loved ones even if it includes hurting himself. And if loved ones become involved he becomes emotionally disoriented, but this could also work to his advantage.
ATELES SHORT HISTORY
James Ryan Liberty was born with mutated naturally selected genes. They were inherited from a long line of athletes and soldiers dating back until the Ancient Greek Empire. These genes began to surface at puberty truly making a difference around the time he turned 17 years old. He was born to an Olympic Medalist Mother and Professional Boxer Father. Jim becomes best friends with a girl from NYC in 6th grade named Jennifer Williams. When they are 17 Jenn is waiting for Jim one night but he’s late, 3 men attempt to mug her but she is saved by Jim with some amazing uses of his powers that he didn’t even know he could do yet. After some talking it out Jenn convinces him to use his abilities to fight the drug dealers around school and their city, being only known to the dealers and police as shadow (he never gave himself a name). Only 2 pictures and 1 video exist when Ateles was shadow, which were considered a hoax by most because of the fishy angles.
After high school Jim quit being a vigilante to focus on college. He went into college as an ROTC with the marines meeting Vince _____ and becoming friends. He earns his bachelor degree in 3 years at the age of 21, taking extra credits and summer classes. After graduation knowing he was going to the Second Iraq Conflict he marries Jenn. Almost immediately after his honey moon he goes for training in Quantico, Virginia. Because of his unnatural abilities and ROTC they set him up with special training in which he becomes a 2nd degree black belt in MCMAP and is trained in almost every field of service. His squad in Iraq was captured by terrorist. He and his fellow marines Vince _______ and Lieutenant Grant escape and save their squad and other prisoners using any means necessary. After serving 2 years becoming a hero and being decorated he applies for a position as an FBI Special Agent. He quickly becomes one of the most successful agents, known for his brave and straight forward tactics.
After only 3 months when Jim was traveling home from work he is involved in a major car accident falling into river and floating down stream away from his life. After landing on his head on more than one occasion in the accident he wakes up to no memories of his past, a broken cell phone and his USMC knife/bayonet. He lives in estranged woods miles from Philadelphia and for 6 months lives in a cave hunting and drinking from a chemically polluted stream. The chemicals enhance his more evolved genes even more. He eventually goes back to Philadelphia as a bearded homeless man who is believed to be crazy. A priest takes him in after Ateles saves him and upon departing from his stay with Father Jones he dubs him Ateles. He follows a Neurological testing machine he believes could solve his memory problem to London. This sets him on a 5 year journey to find his memory and himself, trying everything from chasing the machine to ancient healing and medicine. While traveling he finds a home in the martial arts and he trains in many of the most deadly in the world, night and day. This training gets him to help people. He finally returns to the US and after foiling a bank robbery is sedated and captured by the FBI. They discover his true identity and ask him to lead a specialty team designed to defend the country from threats the National Guard can’t handle after the “Zombie incident” in Philadelphia. He accepts and begins his third new life, but is still in his second searching for his first. Ateles receives neurological testing daily with his new job.
