Was it just me or did Immonen's art get a LOT better in the most recent USM issue? I thought he did a pretty good job, not as good as Bagley of course, but I liked it! He drew Ult. Green Gobby damn good! And his Spidey is awesome!!!

I like him but the art just dosent grab what bendis is writeing. Like back with Bagly when Parker was pissed you felt pissed just looking at how angry he was in the picture. But with Immon it just dosent grab you like Bagly. He does have good action but like when the talked about Harry it was meant to be sad but i didnt feel it at all.

I agree with Cowboy. Bendis is a great action and humour writer and he tops it off with great, realistic dialogue. His stories always go crazy about mid-way, and he, with Bagley, could always capture what his characters were feeling. I loved Immonen's cover for USM 117, and it looked like he'd used a different inker or something.... did something change in that area and I missed it? Because if so, he should continue with the cover's inker. It looks great.

Not sure about inking on the cover, but I noticed it wasn't colored by Richard Isanove...

i am giving immonmen a second chance im going to buy the death of a goblin arc for the story not his art. But if it's bareable i may give him another shot

bought the TBP of death of a goblin horrible all around simple shock value proves to me this line isn;t going to hold much longer because they killed the main guy it stemmed from it all and the art was just so bad for example when mary jane see norman on tv the whole splash page plus the way peter and her talk i think she says he threw her off a bridge like 3 times well we already know that from before one and two peter really knows that so why have her say it i dunno just wasnt the quality the series had before its a shame
though i read on bagley's wikipedia bio he is doing some extra ult spidey stuff now that he left thats promising

not yet he still had some contract left with marvel he was doing mighty avengers but it does say that he's signed with DC so i guess we'll be finding out soon unless he just already arranged what he'll be working on with DC
