Okay, I'm posting this a little early. BUT, Who would win, the like SUPERMAN; HYPERION, or the GOD OF THUNDER; THOR. LET THE DISSCUSSION BEGIN!
My View: Hyperion powers are still a mystery to everyone. He can't be hurt, by pretty much anything, but if he's anything like Superman, He is weak against Magic, so Mjolnir could hurt him pretty bad. Also HE"S THE FRICKIN GOD OF THUNDER. They will most likely be evenly matched, only this wednesday will tell. GO THOR!!!

Whew, finnally read it...
Well Thor and Hyperion get into a fist/hammer fight, Fury thinks there to evenly match so he sends out Human Torch and the Invisible Girl. To go after them. Sue puts up a force field around Hyperion hoping to suffocate him. Hyperion doesn't give up so easily, he punches the field and it hurts Sue ALOT. Johnny tells her to put a small hole in it. She does and Johnny puts a fire in there, it comes to the point where he goes nova also. Hyperion then uses his heat ray vision and breaks both the force field and Johnny. Thor then attacks a naked Hyperion, but is overpowered when Thor's hammer is knocked away from him. Meanwhile inside the Helicruiser Spidy tells Cap secretly that he thinks Nick Fury is hiding something, What? How? Cap also suspects and answer with, Why? Also Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver have their own little dialogue with Fury wondering about the planet and if it's someway parallel to theirs. Then the scene cuts to Reed Richards wondering why he's being transferred to another location, the Guard just answers "Your not allowed to know that information. Then Reed hears a ruckus outside, and goes through the ventalation shaft assuring the guards that he'll be back. A massage battle is going on outside between the Squadron and Ultimates.
Thats it? Sigh only three weeks a waiting...

Yeah, I thought it was much too short. But the battle between Hyperion and Thor didn't disappoint me. Usually when I'm stoked for battles, they end up sucking, but this one lived up to my expectations, so I give big kudos for that. Good issue, but there could've been more.

I just noticed this...
Look at the cover for #1. See Scarlet Witch's face? Next, look at the cover for #2. Look for the girl under Human Torch. Her face looks awfully familiar, no? Then look at #4. Look for the same girl that was on #2. Same face! Open #4 and turn the page. See Wasp? The exact same face is used for three different characters!!! |
