Now for the first question of the evening, we all know that you are the creator of the famed and hot, Ultimate Marvels, a club where people discuss thing Ultimate Marvel among many other things. A club which has seen many good times and bad times. But nontheless a great club!

What we all want to know, is where did you get this great idea? What inspired you to make such a great club?

Well, once upon a time, when I first joined the Marvel boards, I hardly posted at all. Mostly I just watched, and read all the threads, and through that I got acquainted with people like samhalliwell, joemama, and ultimatekevin, even though they didn't know who I was!

Then one day a kid named Flying_Dude showed up, and started something called the Ultimate Marvels. At first, I thought it was a club, and it sounded like an excellent idea to me. But then I went in the thread, and Flying_Dude seemed to be like, a very young kid, who didn't quite grasp the idea of message boards. He kept treating everything like it was a role-playing game, while everyone else was discussing things. Eventually, the thread just died, and Flying_Dude disappeared.

But I remembered that thread, as I started posting more on the boards. Once I had more "street cred" so to speak, I decided to start it again, with the intention of joining together all the regular posters on the Ultimate Board, and making a place where we could get to know each other better.

And the rest, as you know, is history... =P

We all know that this club has become wildly popular and very succesful, so to speak. Is it safe to say that this club, in terms of popularity, has exceded your expectations, from when you originally started it? Or did you suspect it would become so popular?
