This is a new story I am gonna write! Only not fiction!

This is gonna be a true story about how the idea came to be, how well I thought it would do, and about anything else Ult. Trivia related! I hope you all find it interesting! I thought it'd be fun to write how it started and what I think of it today!

I'll post a preview for Issue #1 tonight!

I probaly won't start this until my MK vs. Cap story is done!

THE ULTIMATE MARVLE TRIVIA GAME!!!!! HOW IT CAME TO BE!!!!!!!

CHAPTER 1: An Ultimate Marvel Fan is born!!!!!!!

So people wanna know how this all started? How did The Ultimate Trivia Game, come into existence? What inspired me to start it? Who was the 1st player? These are all important questions! Do you wanna know the answers? Well if I'm gonna tell the origin of this game, then I have to go waaayyy back to the start! To when I first discovered The Ultimate Marvel Universe! Let's Begin....

It was back in 2001. December in fact. When I lived in an apartment in Florida. My family celebrated Saint Nicholas Day. I hung my stocking out and when I woke up, candy was not the only thing that stocking was filled with. In it were also two comics. I wasn't even a die hard comic fan yet! I only had ones from the 80's from my Grandpa.

I looked at them. One was called Ultimate Marvel Team-Up #1. The writer to that comic-book was none other than my now favorite: Brian Michael Bendis. That was my first hit of Bendis. That comic featured Wolverine and Spidey in good ol' Team Up fashion. I read it and loved it. The other was Ultimate Spider-Man #2. That was my first hit of artist Mark Bagley. Man was that gooood. Those were my first Ultimate comics. I enjoyed them. So was that when I started collecting? Nope!

Much as I enjoyed those comics, I never bought anymore. I was younger and I didn't know any comic stores. And I didn't look for any. I was into other things. I am ashamed to say I didn't collect any comics at all until 2004, when I moved back to my homestate Wisconsin. It was then that I bought a Wizard issue at Barnes and Noble. I flipped through it in amazement of all the awesome new comics that I desperately wanted to own. When what to my wondering eyes should appear? A preview of a mini-series called Ultimate Six. It caught my eye! I said one night to my Mother, "I gotta buy that".

So one day I was watching a movie called The Lost Boys. The kid in that movie was at a comic store. All the beautiful comics. So colorful. I asked my mom, "Do you know if there is any comic stores in the area?". She said that she used to take my older Brother there when he was young. She also added that she doubted if it was still in bussiness, because it had been years. I begged her to give me a ride to see if it was still there. So she did. Little did I know on that summer day, in the car on the way to a comic-book store I had never been to before, that that was the day my love of comics, especially Ultimate ones, (and my wallet will never forget that day!) my love of comics was about to begin...

Oh... #168 is my favorite because it reviewed every single trade of the Ultimate Marvel Universe at the time! It gave me a list of what to buy!!
