Comic-Geek-Tom

Here are the bios of some characters i'm planning on writing a fan-fic about:

Impervious:

A wannabe hero, more brawn than brains – not stupid just lacks common sense.

Real Name: Tom

Appearance: An average sized 18 year-old man, with short brown hair.

Description: Tom was a petty criminal who volunteered for experimentation by criminal scientists employed by an unknown criminal overlord who implanted cybernetic implants granting him super-human strength. Worked as a the muscle for this criminal boss until he harmed a small boy placing him in a coma, gripped with guilt saw the error of his ways, promised to use his powers for good & vowed to discover the identity of his boss & take him down. Still visits the boy in hospital every night.

Powers: Impervious is super strong, not the strongest but on a par with Thing. Able to withstand gun-fire but rockets/nukes will kill him.

Underling:

Snivelling villain

Real Name: Darren (Tom’s best friend)

Appearance: a short pathetic looking 18 year-old man, who covers at his boss’ commands. Scruffy appearance, ragged black hair, stubble.

Description: When Impervious (Tom) his best friend betrayed the unknown crime boss Darren was kidnapped & the same scientists that altered his friend gave him powers but also implanted false memories & mind control devices to ensure Underling remained loyal.

Powers: his vocal cords were altered to give him absolute control over his voice. His yells can pierce ear drums; his whispers can instil fear & doubt into the bravest of hearts, he can persuade others to do his bidding for him if he can get close enough to talk into their ear.

Ultimate-Comic-Geek-Tom Productions Present........

'Impervious' Issue 1 – ‘And So It Began’.
‘Origin of Impervious’ part 1 of 4.

“Gimme all your money!!!” Tom yelled, “Now, hurry up!”
The cashier forced 352 dollars into a bag & slid it across the counter.
“Right decision” snarled Tom, “you don’t wanna annoy the boss.” As he snatched up the bag & bolted for the door, he stepped into the street expecting to jump right into the get-a-way car with his best friend & accomplice, Darren, at the wheel but what he found sent a shiver down his spine. Three teenagers were waiting for him, two girls & a boy. Tom could barely make out what they looked like although the girl on the left appeared to be glowing red.
“Drop the money or things get serious” she called, shimmering in the night sky
“I’m not gonna hand the loot over you” Tom replied.
“If you won’t give it back I guess we’ll have to take it” Answered a teenage boy stood beside her.
Sirens shrieked, “Cops, Damn It!!” Tom thought, “I can’t waste time standing around here, I’ve got to get away, I’ll go down for this”.
“AAARRGGGHHH” Tom bellowed as he charged at the teens.
‘SSSSMMMMAAAACCCCKKK’ & as soon as it had started it was over, ‘THUD’ Tom hit the floor.
“You were out of you’re league thief, we’re the Ultimate Outsiders” the boy stated, the sirens getting louder & louder in the background but Tom could remember no more as he passed out.

“Morning Sunshine” greeted Tom as he awoke in a cold, dark cell.
“Where am I?” Tom asked puzzled, his memory of the night before still hazy.
“Disney World” barked his cellmate sarcastically, “Where do you think son, prison.”
“Stupid heroes, with their stupid bloody powers” Tom moaned, “they wouldn’t be so tough if I could fight back.”
“I can tell you how to get powers if you’re man enough to handle them” replied the cellmate handing him a scrap of paper, “go to this address & tell ‘em Rodrigo sent you.”

I'm loving how everything is connected! The Ultimate Marvels connects to The Ultimate Outsiders and now, The Ultimate Outsiders connects to Impervious!! It feels like the UMU!

‘Impervious’ Issue 2 – ‘Super Charging.
‘Origin of Impervious’ part 2 of 4.

9 months later…

“So, this is it…” Tom said to himself, standing outside what looked like a run-down warehouse, “This can’t be right.”
He knocked on the door… No reply, he tried again…
“Who sent you?” A mysterious voice called.
“Rodrigo.” Tom answered.
“Oh, come in.” With the door opened, revealing a high-tech laboratory, hidden in the heart of New York docks.
Moments later Tom was strapped to an operating table, surrounded by three scientists preparing some contraptions Tom had only seen in Sci-Fi movies.
“I’m not sure about this…” Quivered Tom.
“Don’t you vant the power to be somebody?” A scientist questioned in a heavy German accent.
“No strings attached?” Tom asked.
“None at all.”
Tom thought it over “Um… Yeah, okay… Do it.” Nobody was ever gonna push him around again.

3 hours later…

Tom awoke, he was still tied to the table.
“Welcome back Thomas…” A deep voice spoke into his ear, “Now I did you a favour, what are you going to do for me?”
“Boss…? Is that you…? But you said no strings!!!” Tom cried.
“Well, someone must have lied… hahahahaha.” The voice was mocking him, “You rob this for me & we’re even.” The address was forced into Tom’s hand.
