Ultimate Diablo was a good remake. I liked that he was an adversary from the past who needed the UFF as a component for immortality, and not just some baddie who wanted to hurt them for vengeance or noteriety.

Marvel has been re-defining (or maybe just hollistically defining) magic lately. I like to see the spell-casters coming to front lines and showing what it is they can do instead of simply being a catch-all-save-the-day-in-one-stroke plot device.
