Step 1: Aftermath.
Well, looking at the preview pages for tomorrow's ish, Kitty is officially gone.
Also, Professor X is officially dead. The skeleton was his, after extensive research by S.H.I.E.L.D. There go all of our theories.
Also, before he died, he was involved in something called the "Legacy project," which Nick Fury is continuing with.
Step 2: Beast.
No one really knows what this will entail. Personally, I doubt he's really returning, because right after this issue, we get to step 3:
Step 3: The Underneath.
This looks like it will be focusing solely on Nightcrawler, or at least mostly, about him retreating underground to the Morlocks.
I doubt Beast is back, because they wouldn't bring him back just to switch to a Nightcrawler story that he'd barely be in, one issue later. That doesn't make sense to me.

| Why is everyone so excited about singer? He's a director, not a writer, also when he directed the X-Men movies, he wasn't even aware of the characters. He might do a good job but I won't make any final judgements til it comes out. |

why do you think marvel hires so much movie/TV show directors to write comics? because they know its going to turn our genius *cough* Joss Whedon |

| The thing is, Singer would have to read the whole run of the title, so that there aren't any incongruencies in his. Unless, he gets Vaughan besides him, who should know more about it. |
